My body is not working today

I went to the GP dr. this morning because I feel horrible. I woke up feeling poorly this morning, and have just gotten worse all day. She thinks that I have the flu, even though I got my flu shot last week. There is a 12-14 day wait period while the shot is still kicking in to work. If I got exposed to the flu before my shot, I will still get sick because my body hasn't accepted the flu shot yet. But, on top of having the flu, I am also having respiratory problems. My peak flow meteres have been low and I have been taking breathing treatments with my nebulizer, but it does not seem to be working. And on top of all this, my feel and ankles are swollen to the size of softballs. My dr. doesn't know why, but it could be a reaction to my salt intake. I will cut back my salt usage for the next few days and see if that works.
I have been falling asleep, but not remembering I've been asleep or fall asleep while doing things. We are trying to get most of my meds in liquid form, so we can just use the medicince port on my tube to take my meds.
Please pray that I can get better soon and that the swelling in my feet will go down and stay down.

Day 3 of sickness

I made it through the weekend without a trip to the ER, but I am calling the Dr. first thing tomorrow morning to try to get in tomorrow. My stomach problems have calm down significantly. But, I am having a severe reaction to the flu shot I got Friday morning. I have to tell my Dr. that tomorrow and she'll have to call the CDC to report my reaction to them.
I have been in bed all day too weak and shaky to get up and move. There is one main concern that is a little puzzling, Friday night my feet and ankles swelled up to baseball size, and I was in alot of pain. The swelling went down yesterday, but has returned tonight.

I haven't felt this bad since I actually got the flu a few years ago.
Please pray that my doctor will have an opening tomorrow morning and I can get in quickly.

The Next Morning

What a night! I went to sleep at 2am, was sitting up in bed at 3:30am itching like crazy, took some meds, and slept until 12:30pm.
I woke up with a host of allergy problems: stopped up nose, sore throat, red and puffy eyes, hoarseness, congestion. But, all these are also symtoms of having a flu shot, which I got yesterday morning.
I am only up for a little while and then I am going back to bed for my bed rest day and to get hooked up to my feeding pump, my "steak in a bag" as my uncle puts it or my formula.
My feet and abdomen are still swollen, but not as bad as last night, which makes me think that I can hold out until Monday to go and see the DR.
Tricia is feeling better this morning also. Thanks for your prayers last night.
