I don't have much to say.
I am going next week to meet with a neurosurgeon and schedule surgery for my spinal cord stimulation permanent implant. He is scheduling surgeries 3-4 weeks out, but since my pain has been so out of control these past few weeks, I'm hoping I can schedule my surgery 1-2 weeks out. I've heard that the surgery itself is very long and the recovery period is very painful. They will have to open my back and thread the leads into my spinal cord, and then open my hip area up and put the battery box/transmitter in as well.
I'll know more when I meet with the Dr. next week.
Thought I would post a quick update. I finished radiation in January and
for the most part, it was uneventful. I have a monthly injection of
Zoladex to...
