No Big Changes

I started tube feeding tonight, and had to stop after only 100ml (out of 248ml). It's the first time in months that I've done it, so I have to work myself slowly back into it, to make sure that my small intestine can handle it.
I've been eating more baby food (just fruit), more pudding & cool whip (that's what they served in the hospital last week). I also wanted to start eating grilled cheese sandwiches, but can't cook. Tonight I printed off directions on how to cook a sandwich, but burned it completly. I e-mailed a friend who makes the BEST grilled cheese sandwiches, but still understand the directions. Anyone care to help me learn how to make a grilled cheese sandwich?

Good News: It's suppose to rain for the rest of the week. We haven't had measurable rain in almost 2 years. The part of Texas I live in is in an Extreme Drought. It's also suppose to get colder, which is good because for the last 8 days it's been in the mid 80's & 90's.

I'd like to ask for prayers for a friend of mine's daughter who just turned 3. Dakota was born at 24 weeks weighing less than 2lbs. She has constanly been struggling with her health, but the past few weeks she had been feeling good and doing good. All that changed Sunday night. She learned how to turn up the volume on her feeding machine, and just about maxed herself out, thus causing a horible reaction. She has been in the hospital since late Sunday night, and will probably be there for the rest of the week. Please check out her blog for recent updates.

Grilled cheese is the best!

I use spreadable butter and butter one side of the bread. Toss it on a warm griddle or skillet butter side down. Slap the cheese on top of that one and the other piece of bread on top of that, butter side up. Just keep flipping until you get the desired brownness of the bread and the cheese is melty!

Now I know what I'm having for lunch!
